Home reading will be coming home this week. Please check your child's backpack. There is a recording sheet with the decodable book. These books emphasis the reading strategy of looking at the picture for conformation of the words/meaning.

Printing Strokes and Home Reading
This past week we finished all the beginning printing strokes. They had the most fun learning "short vertical with a tail". We stood up to practise it we would bend our knees and then shake our bums and pretend we had a tail and laugh as we wagged it back and forth. You can find examples of all of the lines below.
